The campaign to renovate Bridge/Bowman and rebuild Estabrook, which was endorsed by the Diamond PTA at our December meeting, is in it's final days. Any help you can give is appreciated, but no matter what the important thing is to VOTE YES ON BOTH QUESTIONS ON JANUARY 24.
We are in the home stretch, but we still need volunteers for the YES for Our Schools campaign! We need help in three areas - phone banking, voter reminder calls on Sunday and Monday, and sign holding on Jan. 24.
- Reminder Calls - We will be calling supporters of the campaign on Sunday and Monday reminding them to vote on Tuesday. This is very straight forward and should take callers no more than about an hour. You can sign up at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0C48A4A623A31-gotv
- Sign Holding Jan. 24 - If you are looking for an easy way to help, it doesn't get easier than holding a sign for an hour. We need people to hold YES signs in various locations around town on Jan. 24 to remind people to vote. You can sign up at http://www2.mysignup.com/cgi-bin/view.cgi?datafile=yes_campaign We need over 100 volunteers to cover all of the shifts, so please take a look and see if you can help. If you don't want to hold a sign, you can help by being a sign captain. We need a sign captain for each of the locations. They will get the signs from Kathleen Lenihan's house on Monday and deliver them to the first holders on Tuesday morning. When the shift is done, they will collect the signs and return them to Kathleen.
