Dear Diamond families,
Welcome back to school! The Diamond store, organized and staffed by parent volunteers, is open every day during lunch blocks to sell school supplies. Working there is a fun and easy way to connect with students and teachers, to meet new parents, and of course, to spot your own offspring!
The two-hour shifts are Mondays to Fridays from 10:30AM - 12:30 PM. Volunteers work in pairs, and have a shift every 4-6 weeks, usually on the same day. That makes about 5 shifts throughout the year. New volunteers are paired with experienced ones to learn the (very simple) store procedures.
Please contact Kelly Littlewood, Volunteer Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org with the shifts that work for you (for example, Monday or Wednesday only; no Thursdays; flexible). If you would like to work with a specific partner who can work the same day as you, include your partner's name/email and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please respond as soon as possible as this is a very popular volunteer opportunity and shifts fill up quickly.
