Youth Leadership Program

Three LHS juniors are leading an YLP program in early 2018. Maya Gong, Anika Luo, and Frankin Wang have been taking toastmaster training for more than five years. They want to volunteer their time and share their learning with middle school students.

The Youth Leadership Program is a workshop consisting of eight one- to two-hour sessions that enable young people under the age of 18 to develop their communication and leadership skills through practical experience. The Spring session will be coordinated by experienced Toastmaster Marc Wey.

In order to maximize student participation, there will only be 12 spots.
